The Labour Party has commenced the process of selection for a candidate for Police & Crime Commissioner elections.

The procedure will be determined by preferential ballot by every CLP in each police force area.

To determine the nomination for Newcastle-under-Lyme CLP, a meeting will be held on Friday 5th February 2016 at the Labour Rooms commencing at 7:30pm.

Members of this CLP entitled to attend and eligible to vote in this process are those who were:

1. Fully paid up members at the time of the freeze date (20th October 2015)

2. Those who have been members of the Labour Party for six months prior to this freeze date.

A copy of the statement from the Police & Crime Commissioner candidates will be available at the meeting.

You must attend from the start of this meeting to participate in the ballot.
